Canadian home sales edge higher in November
DURHAM REGION, June 3, 2011 – Durham REALTORS® reported 1,040 sales for the month of May, an increase of 9.6% over last month and represents a small increase of 1.3% over May 2010. The average selling price in Durham Region for May was $316,057 down slightly from last month when we saw an average selling price of $321,042. However, when looking at the historical data, the average selling price of houses in the Durham Region has been steadily increasing over the last 5 years

OTTAWA – February 15th, 2011 – National resale housing activity climbed further in January 2011, according to statistics released today by The Canadian Real Estate Association (CREA). Seasonally adjusted national home sales activity rose 4.5 per cent in January 2011 compared to the previous month, reaching the highest level since April 2010

Resale housing market shows further improvement in January
OTTAWA – October 15th, 2010 – National resale housing activity edged higher for a second consecutive month in September 2010, according to statistics released by The Canadian Real Estate Association (CREA). Combined with a falling supply of homes on the market, the number of months of inventory also declined for the second consecutive month.
